A One-of-a-Kind Home, Designed From the Ground Up
Case Study
- Vision
This home was designed to feel warm, grounded, luxurious, and entirely personal to the people who live there. Inspired by the clients’ love of nature and their connection to UT Austin, every choice was made to create a home with character—not a repeated design.
- Process
Maya’s Design Studio collaborated with the custom home builder throughout the project, tailoring key details wherever possible. After construction, we strategically elevated the home through upgrades to cabinet hardware, faucets, lighting, color, materials, and finishes.
- Design
Warm, nature-inspired tones were balanced with antique influence, rich textures, crystal details, and touches of gold. Carefully placed accent colors gave a subtle nod to UT Austin, while Biophilic elements brought the clients’ connection to nature indoors.
From the quartz and custom dining table to the sectional, chairs, bar stools, lighting, and accessories, every item was selected to create one cohesive and meaningful experience.
